Florida State has apparently lost its appeal to save Bobby Bowden 14 wins that were in jeopardy due to an academic cheating scandal. Bowden retired after Friday's Gator Bowl game. Official statements from both the NCAA, as well as Florida State, will be forthcoming. Sorry, Bobby. Dad-gum.
