The 6'10" forward hails from Benedictine High in Richmond, Virginia. The southpaw freshman chose the Tarheels over Virginia and UConn. He had offers from Georgetown, Louisville, Michigan State, as well as many others. This year he has averaged slightly more than 18 minutes per game with a 6.6 point scoring average. He scored a career high of 15 in the 'Heels NCAA tournament opener against Radford.
