Vanderbilt: Delusions of Grandeur...Still.

Florida visits Vanderbilt Saturday for their annual SEC Eastern Division encounter. The Gators are listed as a 9 point favorite, which seems pretty soft to me. Florida looks like they are getting better every week, and well Vandy is still Vandy. The 'Dores defeated Missouri last week 19-15, but they needed a blotched extra point snap and a bobbled punt that led to a safety to pull out that "W". Not exactly what you would term a blow-out victory. All the while, Missouri remains without a win in the SEC games. That being said, James Franklin has not brought the Vanderbilt program to the point of beating Florida. Florida coach Will Muschamp  has brought his program back to the point of dominating Vanderbilt. Even though the Commodores played the Gators close last year in Gainesville before losing 26-21, this one will not be like the 1988 game when Vandy recorded their last win over the Gators. This will be no 'Trap Game" for Florida. It won't even be close. Forget your delusions Vanderbilt. Those 9 points will be in your rear view mirror in a heartbeat. After all, you're still Vanderbilt. Just sayin...
