Wild Card, Wild Game, Wild Play...

The Atlanta Braves still can't get key hits when they need them, but they sure didn't need a horrible call by an umpire to speed along their abysmal downfall. It was an infield fly rule invoked late in the play while at the same time the infielder was actually running away from the ball.  Not to mention the fact that Atlanta certainly did not need three throwing errors in a sudden death playoff game where the first rule has to be don't beat yourself. For the second year in a row, the Braves have self destructed and ruined their playoff possibilities. They have a lot more problems facing them than just replacing Chipper Jones next spring. They basically have one reliable starter, an average bullpen with a stud closer, and a star studded lineup that can't hit. It sure doesn't look good at this point. And the field sure didn't look too good after the botched call. Just sayin...
